It is a steel characterized by excellent hardening penetration, good processability, polishability and suitability for photo, this steel is used in the wide field of plastic molds, especially for large arrays with low carbon content, it has greater sealability in comparison to 1.2738.
It can be nitrated to further improve the wear resistance.
Main applications include: injection moulds and extrusion thermoplastic, bumpers, dashboards and automotive in general.
